Job Title: QA Engineer (Linux + SQL + Automation) Experience: 5–7 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a strong QA Engineer with a blend of manual and automation testing experience, proficiency in SQL and Linux terminal (bash) , and hands-on exposure to deployment and testing across environments like SIT, UAT, and PST. The ideal candidate should be able to contribute across the testing lifecycle including API testing, performance testing, and CI/CD . Key Responsibilities: Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, UAT, and system testing Execute and validate test cases in Linux terminal (bash/Putty) environments Write and run complex SQL queries for data validation on Oracle 19 DB Contribute to deployments, SIT/UAT setup, and quality gates Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and assist with integration testing Execute API testing using tools like SoapUI/Postman Conduct performance testing using JMeter or similar tools Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in manual & automation testing Good hands-on with Linux/Unix (bash, Putty, terminal commands) Proficient in Oracle 19 / SQL – writing and validating complex queries Automation tools like Selenium or any equivalent Experience with software deployments/UAT support Good-to-Have Skills: Jenkins , CI/CD pipeline understanding API Testing using SoapUI/Postman Performance testing tools like JMeter Bash scripting exposure Work Deliverables: Quality Assurance sign-off for deployments System, functional, regression, and UAT testing Performance testing and test documentation --
