The Opportunity As a Mechanical Design Engineer , you will transform industrial-scale concepts into precise, manufacturable plant layouts and mechanical systems that power our smart-energy and safety solutions. Key Responsibilities Plant & System Design: Develop 3-D models, assemblies, and production drawings using CATIA and SolidWorks . Analysis & Optimisation: Conduct structural, thermal, and vibrational FEA in ANSYS ; perform tolerance stack-ups and enforce DFM/DFA best practices. Documentation Ownership: Produce BOMs, GD&T, and engineering change orders to ASME / ISO standards. Prototyping & Industrialisation: Partner with suppliers to build, test, and refine prototypes through to full-scale manufacture. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with electronics, firmware, and project teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective designs on schedule. Qualifications Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on design work for plants, equipment, or products. Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in CATIA , SolidWorks , and ANSYS . Technical Skills: Strong command of materials selection, GD&T, and manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet-metal, fabrication).
