Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): Data Analytics Support: Support Propulsion Engineering with the business rules being applied for data centralization and data architecture. Partner with the Propulsion Engineering data team to support the identification and implementation of new data analytic requirements with data vizualization, web analytics and data science. Partner with IT and other internal business groups as necessary to support deployment and productionization of new analytical data requirements. Update and distribute the reoccurring reporting for the group and manage the reference tables. Product Support for the Propulsion Engineering webpage. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications): Bachelor of Engineering Degree (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or comparable experience in an engineering related discipline. 4+ Years of total experience in a technical aviation related discipline. Should have a technical knowledge of aircraft engines, engine shop processes, engine manuals and standards, and regulatory requirements. Previous Airline, OEM or MRO experience with commercial aircraft engines. Experience with SQL databases; specifically, DB2, Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL Experience with data visualization in Tableau Experience with data analytics software packages such as Alteryx, R and/or Python Familiarity with airline flight operations and support system.
