RoleProject Manager IT – Sales, Distribution and Retail (SDR)Job Level/ Designation Assistant General Manager (Development and Operations)Function / DepartmentSolution Delivery – Information Technology LocationPune – HinjewadiJob PurposeManage development, maintenance and delivery Projects impacting Sales and distribution system applications / modules (preference for POS) and ensure delivery of business/IT capabilities in the portfolio. Coordinate/collaborate with multiple partners/vendors to arrive at integrated project plan for project delivery including small and medium transformation programs and drive partners to deliver within agreed milestones, scope and with quality. Conduct regular project reviews, manage risks, work on issues resolution and manage stakeholders and related communication.Role involves executing projects using various SDLC methodologies like Agile & Waterfall. Candidate should have knowledge of DevOps , release automation tools, code review, effort estimation, optimization etc. Critical element of the role is to ensure zero defect delivery and bridge gaps between various stakeholders. Role is accountable for closure of the project in stipulated time frames. Candidate should facilitate production rollouts and support post production incident resolution including L2 and L3 incidents.Key Result Areas/AccountabilitiesSought out as a Sales, Distribution and Retail Systems SME - preference would be given for POS, Sales Incentive Management, Dedupe and SDR related application experience.Solution Review - Participation in solution and low-level design documents review for the projects to ensure that it’s aligned with the business requirements and review and optimize delivery efforts.Project Delivery – Delivery of projects in Waterfall/ Agile methodology. Liaising & managing partners to ensure delivery as per the agreed solution, project plan and milestones timelines. Project Management: Review project plan and approve development, build, testing approach, SIT/UAT execution and releases and ensure project gets delivered as per the agreed milestones.Post Deployment Support: Analysis, review and tracking of L2 and L3 incident fixes to ensure it’s resolved within the agreed SLA. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience6+ years of experience in IT deliveries for BSS applications / Sales, Distributions and Retail Applications.Telecom BSS domain experience preferredExperience in product implementation, mapping and migration of COTS & Customized products.Experience of working in multi-vendors/multi-stakeholder challenging environment thus understanding diverse processes and approaches.Exposure of DevOps and CI-CD processes Strong grasping capability, communications ,interpersonal and negotiation skills Competent in Microsoft project professional / Excel / Power Point /Word Technical / professional qualificationsBE/B-tech/MCA degree or Management degree in IT/SystemsSound knowledge of Agile/DevOps frameworks/methodology and ToolsSound Knowledge of SDLCProject Management and Industry Certification like PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, Safe Agile, DevOps, ITIL etc.A Developer background in Java, Oracle or SQL technologies would be preferredTechnical degree from Premium institute will be an added advantage
