The officer will drive the organization’s efforts in securing and executing government projects, tenders, and public-private collaborations in the education, training, and skilling space. The position requires deep familiarity with government systems, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to independently push forward strategic initiatives with tact and persistence.Key Responsibilities:Government & Institutional LiaisoningIdentify and pursue opportunities for collaboration with state/central government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and skill development missionsRepresent the organization in meetings with officials from education, urban development, skills, and local governance departmentsDrive government project approvals, MoUs, and tender participation in education, skilling, or CSR-linked initiativesTrack and follow up on training tenders floated by NSDC, MSSDS, MSDE, DTE, and relevant state-level bodiesProactively manage relationships with key government and PSU stakeholders to facilitate quicker project onboarding and issue resolutionRegulatory & Administrative CoordinationLiaise with municipal bodies, collector offices, education boards, and training accreditation authorities for project clearances and operational complianceEnsure timely submission of proposals, documentation, and reports as required under government project guidelinesResolve administrative hurdles or delays through appropriate intervention and stakeholder coordinationStakeholder Networking & Influence BuildingBuild and sustain a wide network within relevant government departments such as PWD, Urban Development, Local Self Government, MHADA, MMRDA, MTDC, MIDC, and other PSUs involved in education-linked infrastructure or training projectsEngage with CSR divisions of PSUs for education and skilling partnershipsMaintain high visibility and recall among decision-makers across the education and development ecosystemIdeal Profile:10–20 years of experience in public affairs, government liaisoning, or project management in the education/training sectorStrong network within relevant state and municipal departments (PWD, Urban Development, Local Self Government, MHADA, MMRDA, MTDC, MIDC, etc.)Deep understanding of public procurement processes, tendering, and policy implementation frameworksPrior experience in working with NSDC, MSSDS, MSDE, DTE, or related government skill missions is a strong plusExcellent written and verbal communication in English, Marathi, and HindiBachelor's or master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Education, or equivalent preferredAbility to work independently, manage high-level relationships, and represent the organization with professionalism and tactOther Expectations:Must be flexible to travel and available beyond office hours when criticalAble to handle multiple government stakeholders simultaneously and navigate bureaucratic structures effectivelyProactive, persistent, and strategic in follow-ups and execution
