We are seeking a Site Electrical Engineer to oversee and support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance ofsolar power systemsat project sites inLiberia . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar PV systems and a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles applied to renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor all solar PV electrical works on-site, including installation of panels, inverters, combiner boxes, transformers, and cable routing. Review and interpret solar electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), string configurations, and layout plans. Oversee the installation of LV/MV systems, grounding/earthing systems, protection systems, and monitoring equipment. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure integrated project delivery. Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for solar systems, including insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and inverter testing. Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Ensure all electrical work complies with international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), local regulations, and solar industry best practices. Maintain accurate daily site logs, quality reports, material inspections, and testing records. Troubleshoot technical issues and propose practical on-site solutions to maintain progress and quality. Implement HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) procedures during electrical installations and inspections.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s is a plus 10 years of experience in solar PV system installation and supervision Strong knowledge of solar PV system components (inverters, modules, combiner boxes, etc.). Familiarity with electrical safety standards and testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
