Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Assistant to support the daily financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving payment requests, managing records of financial transactions, and collaborating with external Chartered Accountants for tax-related compliance including GST, TDS, and filings. This role involves hands-on work with spreadsheets, online banking platforms, and maintaining clear, organized financial data.Key Responsibilities:Payment Management: Review, analyze, and approve payment requests from various team members. Ensure all expenses are aligned with internal budgets and approvals. Bookkeeping & Financial Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all financial inflows and outflows using Google Sheets. Reconcile bank transactions and ensure entries are up to date and well-documented. Banking Operations: Handle all bank-related tasks including fund transfers, payment processing, and coordination with banking partners. Monitor account balances and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Tax & Compliance: Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants for timely GST, TDS, and tax filings. Maintain organized records and documentation required for compliance and audits. Reporting & Support: Provide financial summaries and reports to management as needed. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting support role (preferred). Proficiency in Google Sheets and basic accounting tools/software. Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax regulations. Strong organizational and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
