Job Title:Site Engineer / Hydrographic Surveyor – Anywhere in IndiaCompany:NTCPWC, IIT Madras, ChennaiLocation:Pan India (Open to travel and site-based assignments) Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Site Engineer / Hydrographic Surveyor, you will play a critical role in various engineering and surveying projects across India. Your key responsibilities will include: Site Execution:Leading and executing on-site civil engineering tasks, ensuring that work meets specified standards and deadlines. Dredging Monitoring:Overseeing and monitoring dredging operations to ensure effective, safe, and environmentally compliant outcomes. Topographic and Hydrographic Surveys:Conducting detailed topographic and hydrographic surveys, including depth measurement, seabed mapping, and analyzing land and water features to support engineering and environmental planning.Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or E&I (Electronics and Instrumentation) Engineering from a recognized institution. Experience:0 to 1 year of relevant work experience in site execution, dredging, or hydrographic and topographic surveys. Technical Skills:Proficiency in survey equipment and software tools used in topographic and hydrographic surveys. Willingness to Travel:Ability to relocate or travel to various site locations across India as required. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and timelines. Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental guidelines for civil and marine projects.
