VDI Job Description Implement, manage and support VMware VSphere virtualization technology on bare-metal server hardware. Implement and manage bare-metal servers. Implement, Manage and support Vmware Horizon VDI environment Implement, manage and support operating systems with Microsoft Windows Server OS. Implement, manage and support many applications which support the operation of the private cloud infrastructure: Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory DNS, Window Time, Domain Group Policies, WSUS (Windows Update Services), Network Policy Server (NPS) Omnissa Horizon VDI, Horizon UEM, and Windows 11 based VDIs. Various other 3rd party applications used to support and manage the environment. Maintain a secure and supportable environment at current release and patch levels, apply regular and routine updates and patches to all servers and systems. Implement and maintain server and systems infrastructure adhering to HIPAA and PCI-DSS requirements, provide evidence to security compliance teams for ongoing audits.
