SAP Fiori Fullstack Developer — Job Description (JD) Mandatory: CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) experience Overview The SAP Fiori Fullstack Developer will design, build, and maintain robust applications using SAP Fiori/UI5 on the frontend and SAP BTP, CAPM, and ABAP on the backend. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated hands-on experience with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) and bring end-to-end expertise in both frontend (Fiori/UI5, JavaScript, HTML5) and backend (Node.js, Java, ABAP, OData) stacks within SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Design and implement backend data models and services using SAP CAPM, Node.js/Java, ABAP, and OData. Build scalable and secure solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), leveraging CAPM as the central development paradigm. Configure, deploy, and manage applications using development tools like SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, and other developers, in an agile setup for requirement gathering, design, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot, optimize, and debug application issues across the full stack. Maintain detailed technical documentation and promote best practices in software development. Stay abreast of emerging SAP and cloud technologies, proactively recommending and implementing improvements. Mandatory Skills & Experience SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM):Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade solutions using SAP CAPM (Node.js or Java-based). Frontend:SAP Fiori/UI5, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3. Backend:OData, ABAP or ABAP OO, S/4HANA exposure. Cloud Technology:SAP BTP understanding and experience in deploying CAPM/Fiori solutions. DevOps:Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment/monitoring practices. Application Lifecycle:End-to-end software development lifecycle participation — requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Good to Have Experience with S/4HANA Extensibility, RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming), integration with other SAP modules/services. Experience with microservices architecture, Node.js, Java, and cloud-native development. Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS). Exposure to AI/ML, SAP IS-Utilities, or specialized SAP industry modules. SAP BTP and/or CAPM certification. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
