Role: Sr. Electrical EngineerLocation: India (Remote)About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Trainer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial environments such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, or energy. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical system design, power distribution, industrial equipment commissioning, and safety standards—along with a proven ability to train, coach, and upskill engineers and technicians.This role requires both technical depth and the communication skills to deliver structured, practical training programs. The trainer should be proficient with electrical tools, circuit protection systems, instrumentation, PLC interfaces, and compliant with regulatory frameworks like NEC, NFPA 70E, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5.Key Responsibilities:Design and deliver structured training modules on electrical systems, troubleshooting, safety standards, and instrumentation.Conduct classroom and hands-on lab sessions covering panel design, MCCs, relay logic, VFDs, grounding, and circuit protection.Train candidates in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and implementing electrical controls.Teach safe work practices aligned with OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and plant safety protocols.Guide trainees through real-world scenarios involving equipment fault diagnosis and resolution.Provide feedback and technical mentoring to junior engineers and electricians.Develop assessments to evaluate trainee progress and readiness for field roles.Stay updated with emerging electrical technologies and standards.Technical Background Required:Proficiency in electrical drafting tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).Strong knowledge of power systems, control panels, circuit protection, grounding, and earthing systems.Exposure to PLCs (hardware integration), industrial instrumentation (sensors, actuators, transmitters), and motor control systems.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.Solid grasp of regulatory codes: NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC, UL, and GAMP.Ability to explain technical concepts to both entry-level and experienced professionals.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.10+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a training or mentoring role.Certification in industrial safety or training (OSHA, NFPA, Train-the-Trainer) is a plus.Strong documentation, communication, and public speaking skills.Passion for teaching and developing talent in electrical engineering.
