Job Title: Head of Learning Design Location: Hybrid Reports to: Head of Business Team Size: 4–5 Instructional DesignersAbout the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Learning Design to lead the end-to end design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge learning solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with deep expertise in agile learning development, instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, and experiential formats such as games and simulations. As a client-facing leader, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into engaging, scalable, and results-driven learning programs across digital and blended formats. You will guide a team of instructional designers and work cross functionally with IT, Sales, and Design to ensure every solution meets both learner and client needs.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:• Own the instructional design strategy across projects—from discovery to delivery. • Guide the learning architecture and content frameworks for enterprise clients across industries. • Lead agile learning design sprints and ensure rapid prototyping and iterative development. Team Management: • Mentor and manage a team of 4–5 instructional designers, ensuring consistent performance and professional growth. • Oversee daily operations, workload distribution, quality control, and timelines. • Foster a high-performance, learner-centric, and collaborative team culture.Learning Design & Delivery:• Design and review learning programs that span ILT, virtual classrooms, eLearning, mobile learning, microlearning, and blended formats. • Spearhead the development of games, role-play simulations, branching scenarios, and other experiential learning formats. • Ensure alignment with adult learning principles, cognitive science, and modern learning technologies. Client Engagement: • Collaborate directly with clients to understand needs, define learning goals, and co create tailored learning journeys. • Present design strategies and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final solutions. • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on learning effectiveness, design trends, and learner engagement.Cross-Functional Collaboration:• Liaise with the IT, Sales, and Visual Design teams to ensure cohesive and innovative learning experiences. • Collaborate with Sales for RFPs, proposals, and customer pitch discussions.
