Role: Manager – Direct TaxLocation: Worli, MumbaiIndustry: F&B Industry PreferredBudget: 19-22LEducation: CA (mandatory)Work Experience: 6+ years of experience post qualificationThe candidate will be responsible for delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe, developing and maintaining tax plans, compliance procedures and risk assessment framework for effective tax management.Role Description:1. Responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits and ensuring compliance with tax regulations including compliance with transfer pricing matters2. Proficient in tax computation in INDAS accounting environment3. Ensure tax liabilities are accurately reported4. Handling tax assessment and litigation5. Study of case studies, preparing research papers and sharing updates with finance teams6. Automate manual processes and create an effective repository of tax recordsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:1. Strong understanding of tax laws with proficiency in Income Tax Act and Income Tax rules2. Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles3. Proficient in IT skills4. Previous work experience / article ship in Big 45. Exposure to International taxation will be preferred.
