Job Title: Children’s Product & Graphic DesignerRole Overview: We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer to craft engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate products and graphics for children. This role blends product design, graphic design, and collaboration across teams to bring joyful, high-quality children's products to life.Key Responsibilities:Product Design:Design innovative and age-appropriate children's products—ranging from toys and educational tools to apparel, accessories, and home décor.Conduct research on trends, materials, and age-specific functionality to guide design direction.Prepare detailed production tech packs for manufacturing.Graphic Design:Create charming illustrations, surface patterns, and layouts for packaging, product branding, and promotional materials.Design assets for both print and digital formats, including instruction manuals, e-commerce graphics, and marketing collateral.Develop web-based assets such as banners, emailers, and other digital marketing materials.Design engaging social media content, including posts and stories tailored to a child-focused brand aesthetic.Collaboration & Communication:Partner closely with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and brand alignment.Present design concepts clearly and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the design process.Research & Ideation:Stay informed on current trends in children’s design, including child psychology, color theory, and safety standards.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute playful, imaginative design ideas.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Illustration, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in product or graphic design, ideally with a focus on children’s markets.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with 3D software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Blender) is a plus.Strong illustration and character design skills suited to a child audience.Understanding of production processes, including print and manufacturing.Familiarity with safety standards and compliance for children’s products (e.g., ASTM, EN71) is a strong advantage.A well-organized portfolio showcasing a range of child-centric designs and projects.
