Work Location: Adajan, Surat, Gujarat Job Summary: As a Business Manager at Axis Max Life Insurance (Agency Partner Channel), you will have the opportunity to build a strong distribution network by recruiting, developing, and managing Agency Leaders and their respective advisor teams. You will be responsible for driving productivity, ensuring compliance, and achieving recruitment and sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Recruit and developAgency LeadersandAdvisorsto build a strong and productive distribution team. Achieve and exceed recruitment targets for bothAgency LeadersandAdvisors . Conductone-on-one sessionsto enhance the quality of recruitment and build a supportive platform for the entire hierarchy. Drive productivity metrics includingAFYP (Annualized First Year Premium)and number of business cases. Identify and promote potentialMDRT, EC, CEO Council qualifierswithin the team. Ensure IRDAI compliance in advisor onboarding and operations. Monitor market and competitor trends, especially in relation to Financial Executive and AAP models. Execute growth plans for the agency unit by identifying and developing new leaders. Conductweekly performance reviews and planning (PRP)sessions. Focus on team retention through ongoing development, training, and mentoring. Promote a high-performance culture throughR&R programs , consistent communication, and leadership practices. Key Success Measures: Number of successful leaders (Financial Executives) developed. Growth incontracted advisor base . Improvement inAFYP, case rate, and case size . Recruitment and performance of newAgency Associates . Satisfaction level of Advisors (Advisor Satisfaction Survey). Timely and accurate reporting and compliance. Other Responsibilities: Coordinate with Head Office (HO). Support in sales promotion and marketing activities. Assist in smooth functioning of the branch office. Skills & Competencies Required: Strongselling and relationship-building skills Teamcoaching and leadership development Highresult orientationandresilience Strong sense ofdisciplineand adaptability to dynamic environments Qualification & Experience: MinimumGraduation(MBA preferred). 2-4 years of overall experience , with at least2 years in sales . Preference for candidates withpeople managementexperience.
