About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and motivated academic professional to join our university asAssistant Professor – Agribusiness Management . The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, academic rigor, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students pursuing careers in the agriculture business and allied sectors.Key Responsibilities: Teach core and elective courses related to Agribusiness Management, including but not limited to Agricultural Marketing, Agri Supply Chain, Rural Economy, Agribusiness Finance, and Farm Management. Design and deliver engaging lectures, case studies, and practical-based learning experiences. Guide students on research projects, dissertations, and internship assignments. Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputed journals. Contribute to curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, and outcome-based education practices. Support accreditation and documentation processes as per NAAC/ICAR/UGC/AICTE guidelines. Actively participate in departmental meetings, industry interaction programs, and university initiatives. Mentor students and foster industry linkages for internships and placements.Educational Qualification & Experience: Essential:Master’s degree in Agribusiness Management / Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Marketing / MBA in Agribusiness or related discipline from a recognized university. Desirable:Ph.D. (or registered) in relevant discipline as per UGC norms. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry in a relevant field. (Fresh postgraduates with strong academic merit may also be considered.)Desired Skills & Attributes: Strong command over subject content and pedagogy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in modern teaching tools and techniques. Research orientation and publication record in Scopus/UGC-CARE journals preferred. Experience in industry outreach, rural engagement, or agri-startups will be an added advantage.
