Job Title: API Automation Location: PanIndia Experience:8-10 Job Type:Contract to hire. Notice Period:Immediate joiners. Mandatory Skills: API Automation testing Java or JavaScript Karate framework and BDD Cucumber REST APIs, JSON CI/CD tools Job Description: Create automation test strategy and plan for testing MQ system using Karate framework • Design and maintain automated test cases for MQ-based systems using the Karate framework. • Migrate existing Python-based regression test scripts to Karate in both development and staging environments. • Customize the Karate framework to align with client-specific application environments. • Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure test coverage. • Manage test data using cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS databases or Karate files). • Execute and maintain test suites, analyze test results, and report defects. • Integrate automated testscripts into CI/CD pipeline Required Skills & Experience: • 8-10 years of experience in automation testing of API or Queues -MQ, Rabbit MQ, S3 bucket or similar technologies. • Strong hands-on experience with the Karate framework, BDD and Cucumber. • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous messaging and HTTP protocols. • Strong work experience in Java or JavaScript for test scripting. Good to have Python experience/ knowledge. • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket Pipelines. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and test data management strategies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
