Job Description

Role Overview: We’re seeking a highly driven Design Manager to lead Dentalkart’s end-to-end product design across web, mobile app, and internal tools. You will work closely with product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to craft seamless, fast, and scalable experiences across customer journeys—from product discovery to checkout to post-purchase.Key Responsibilities:Design Strategy & Execution Own and evolve the design system across Dentalkart’s web and app platforms (React Native & Next.js) . Define design principles aligned with brand, conversion, and usability. Translate product briefs, BRDs, and CX pain points into clean, intuitive flows Drive a mobile-first approach while maintaining strong desktop UX parity.Team & Process Leadership Lead and mentor a team ofUI/UX designers(both in-house and contract). Plan and runweekly design sprints , aligned with Agile workflows (Jira & Confluence). Review all critical designs before development handoff; ensure properannotations, specifications , anddeveloper readiness . Foster a culture ofcontinuous improvement, collaboration , anddesign excellenceCross-functional Collaboration Work closely withProduct Owners, Engineering, QA , andBusiness Operationsto ensure design integrity throughout the product lifecycle. Participate insprint planning, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) , anddesign QAfor weekly app releases and web deployments. Collaborate with stakeholders togather feedback, align goals , and refine features post-launch.Customer-Centric Design Leaduser research, A/B testing , andusability studiesin collaboration with internal stakeholders and end-users (dentists). Continuously analyzeheatmaps, GA4, Clarity, and MoEngagedata to inform iterative design improvements. Advocate formicro-interactions, performance optimization , and reducing friction across the user journey.Requirements: 5–8 years of experience in UI/UX with at least 3 years in a lead/managerial role. Proven work in eCommerce / transactional platforms (D2C/B2B preferred). Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools. Strong portfolio showing live work on web/mobile design systems and flows. Experience collaborating with cross-functional agile teams. Excellent communication, prioritization, and team leadership skills. Understanding of performance implications of design (speed, mobile rendering, accessibility, etc.)
