Job Title:Permit Writer Location:Bengaluru (Onsite) Job Type:Full-time Department:Maintenance and Turnaround PlanningAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly skilledPermit Writerto join the Maintenance and Turnaround (TAR) Planning organization within the Client’s ENGINE Center. This role is vital in supporting Maintenance and TAR asset teams across the Client’s LNG facilities. The Permit Writer will be responsible for ensuring all work permits are drafted, reviewed, and submitted in compliance with the Client’s Control of Work standards and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities: Draft permits using theelectronic Control of Work (eCoW)system. Collaborate with Permit Requesters to ensure permits go through site validation, approval, and execution processes smoothly. Adhere strictly to theClient’s Control of Work - Work Authorisation Manualwhen drafting permits. Coordinate withOperations and Engineeringteams to gather required supporting documents including: Isolation Confirmation Certificates (ICC) Bypass Critical Protection Certificates (BCP) Marked-up diagrams and hazard analysis reports. Provide detailed documentation such as: Purpose and reason for bypassing equipment. Alternative protective measures. Level 2 Hazard Analysis, when required.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degreein Engineering or a related Maintenance discipline. Proven background inOperations (Maintenance or Production)within Refineries or LNG environments. Strong understanding ofPermit to Work systemsandControl of Work processes . Experience inMaintenance Work Managementincluding: Work prioritization Planning and estimating Scheduling and execution Work closure and documentation Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards relevant to oil & gas or LNG facilities.Preferred Skills: Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety compliance. Proficiency in using digital permit management tools (e.g., eCoW). Effective communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a high-risk, high-compliance environment.
