You will be part of a “best in class” team of commercially minded and client centric revenue accountants that provide proactive support to the business to drive profitable growth. As part of the finance business partnering team, you will provide excellent support to client teams and bring your financial expertise to the table.You will be reporting into the Finance business partner relevant to your portfolio of clientsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESYou will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of a portfolio of clients. Your specific responsibilities for your clients will include:Monthly Revenue ReportingConsistently deliver in line with all agreed monthly deadlinesReport accurately and in line with US GAAP (soon to be SOX compliant)All intercompany transactions recorded and reported accuratelyProvision of clear and informative explanations to the Business Partner on all material variances between final revenue recognised and previous forecastEnsuring all necessary support for revenue recognition is housed within the systems for year-end/client audit purposesWorking Capital ManagementMonthly reconciliations of all working capital balances (accrued and deferred revenue etc)Agreement of all balances with client leadsEscalation of all aged and high-risk items to the relevant business partner to ensure timely actions are takenActive participation at the monthly working capital meeting with the CFOClient Team SupportYou will be the day-to-day financial contact for your client leads & as such responsible for:Providing excellent day to day support on all aspects of client P&Ls including the rolling full year forecastsProviding “super user” support for teams on the financial set up of OMG (bespoke Oliver billing system)Running effective weekly WIP reviews with client teamsSupporting teams in meeting all key monthly cut off dates for revenue recognitionGenerally providing first class financial support to your client teamsGeneralActive member of the UK finance team that contributes to process improvements and efficiency enhancements particularly around accurate forecasting each weekSuccessfully supporting the driving and adoption of commercial best practice within the business:IDEAL EXPERIENCE Proven experience of working effectively with billing/sales order processing systemsCan demonstrate ability with understanding and successfully using an ERP system - Netsuite/Adaptive insights experience an advantage but not a necessityCommercial acumenProven ability to analyse large volumes of dataExperience within a professional services agency/business & a passion, enthusiasm for understanding the industryExperience dealing with managing revenue from large international customers – including project and asset-based revenueStrong working knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAPExperience working in a fast-paced, high-pressured and unstructured environmentResilient - be adaptive and agile to changing requests and prioritiesAbility to work well with multiple projects and deadlines and delivering in the required timelinesOTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIESExcellent stakeholder managementExcellent time management skills (deadlines consistently met)Commercially mindedChampions first class internal customer serviceAn excellent communicatorAmbitious, yet collegiate, humble, fair, and balancedVery likable, warm and generousStrong ethics and integrity – respects diversityOur values shape everything we do:Be Ambitious to succeedBe Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possibleBe Inspirational to do groundbreaking workBe always learning and listening to understandBe Results-focused to exceed expectationsBe actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creationsOLIVER+, a part of the Brandtech Group, is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
