As a Team Lead - Data Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy and execution of our data delivery processes. You’ll be responsible for managing high-impact, cross-functional projects, supervising a distributed team, and ensuring that our outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction. You’ll work across multiple stakeholders, identify and address process gaps, lead innovation, and drive accountability for portfolio-level outcomes. Budget for the role is up to 12 LPA Fixed.Key Responsibilities •Leadership & Supervision - Lead and mentor a team of data specialists across multiple projects, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development. - Supervise and manage team performance, driving ownership and accountability across all workstreams. - Allocate resources and manage time across projects to align with long-term strategic goals. •Client & Stakeholder Communication - Ensure accurate and nuanced documentation of complex concepts shared by clients and internal stakeholders. - Represent the team in high-impact meetings; influence stakeholders through compelling narratives and clear communication. - Coach the team in stakeholder engagement, especially in ambiguous or high-pressure situations. •Operational Excellence - Build and continuously improve the team’s production model to drive efficiency, quality, and scalability. - Understand the client requirements and internal capabilities to help design efficient solution pipelines. - Manage SLAs and deliverables by coordinating across remote teams, ensuring high standards are consistently met. - Embed quality control and feedback loops in team operations, in collaboration with Data Automation Engineers and Data Scientists. •Strategic Problem Solving & Innovation - Identify recurring operational bottlenecks and convert them into scalable, process-driven solutions. - Drive innovation in data processes, introducing best practices, tools, and technologies where appropriate. - Lead change management initiatives and ensure smooth adoption across the team and stakeholders. •Decision-Making & Adaptability - Make strategic decisions related to people, processes, and tools that directly impact the quality and direction of work. - Shift priorities as needed in response to evolving client needs and organizational objectives.Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. • 6-7 years of data-focused experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or project management role. • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and mentor direct reports. • Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, including managing ambiguity and tight deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to drive operational strategy and lead cross-functional initiatives. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Advanced Excel and proficiency in MS Office tools. • Strong attention to detail and a structured, process-driven mindset. • A solution-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable approach to challenges. • High learning agility and a passion for operational excellence.Infrastructure Requirements (Remote Work) • High-speed internet connectivity suitable for video conferencing and high-volume data work. • Business-grade computer (modern processor, 8GB+ RAM). • Clear audio headphones and a quiet, dedicated workspace. • Stable power and internet backup.Please Note • This role does not provide a direct path to AI/ML or data visualization roles. • You will, however, work closely with technical teams and contribute to operational strategy and innovation.
