Your responsibilities will include:Architect and Optimize Authentication Standards: Design, implement, and enhance industry-standard protocols like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM to ensure robust, secure, and interoperable identity solutions.Build Scalable IAM Platform Components: Develop and maintain highly reliable, performant, and scalable services that handle authentication, authorization, and user management at enterprise scale.Drive Innovation in Role Engineering and Session Management: Research and implement advanced solutions for role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), session lifecycle management, and standardized formats to meet cross-functional AuthN/AuthZ requirements.Enable Seamless Enterprise Onboarding: Create secure and intuitive user and team management integrations, streamlining onboarding processes and enhancing platform accessibility for enterprise clients.Develop APIs and Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Support, Quality, Security, and Platform Engineers to build APIs and products that prioritize security, usability, and performance.Champion Code Quality and Mentorship: Conduct thorough code reviews, advocate for software engineering best practices, and mentor peers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Shape Technical Architecture: Leverage your expertise to architect solutions, influence technical strategy, and drive cross-squad knowledge sharing on IAM best practices.Build Internal Tooling: Design and develop tools to streamline development, testing, and maintenance workflows, boosting team productivity and platform reliability.About YouWe’re looking for a technical visionary with a passion for building secure, scalable systems and a drive to push the boundaries of identity management. You bring:6+ Years of Experience: Proven expertise in developing complex, distributed software applications at scale, with a focus on performance and reliability.Technical Mastery:Deep proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js, with a strong command of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, WebSockets, etc.).Advanced knowledge of database fundamentals, including query optimization, schema design, indexing, and caching strategies for high-performance systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).Proven Track Record: Experience building products from the ground up, delivering robust solutions that meet real-world demands.Collaborative Leadership: A strong point of view, with experience respectfully challenging stakeholders (e.g., PMs, EMs) to drive better outcomes while fostering collaboration.Auth Expertise (Bonus): Hands-on experience with authentication protocols and products (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, etc.) and a deep understanding of their implementation nuances.IAM Experience (Bonus): Prior work in user/team management, role engineering, or access control systems, with familiarity in designing secure, scalable IAM solutions.Learning Mindset: A passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge across teams, coupled with a product-oriented mindset and empathy for end-users.Why join our client ?
