PurposeThe Customer Relationship Management Platforms department is one of six strategic units within the Corporate IT division Digital Experience Platforms. In this department, we design and implement core CRM IT applications with a focus on the sales and service processes for our strategic business units and the sales and service companies worldwide. As a Release Manager, you play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing CRM Salesforce system releases. You ensure smooth deployment, quality assurance, and effective communication with various stakeholders while managing risks and maintaining compliance.Role and Responsibilities· As a Release Manager CRM Platforms you are responsible for managing the deployment of CRM Salesforce system releases, coordinating tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that releases are deployed according to schedule, following established deployment procedures and best practices · You are managing Salesforce system environments (development, testing, production) and ensure that the environments are properly configured and maintained, with the necessary data subsets and security measures. · You are collaborating with architects, business users, CRM integration domain experts, developers, and other IT teams, to plan and coordinate CRM Salesforce system releases and rollouts. · You coordinate environment refreshes, backups, and version control to support development and testing activities · As the Release Manager you are identifying and managing risks associated with system releases and define appropriate mitigation strategies and ensure compliance and quality standards · You provide regular updates on release progress, changes, and potential impacts · You facilitate release planning meetings and post-release reviews · You are responsible for the Maintenance of release-related documentation, including release notes, deployment instructions, and known issues · As part of continuous improvement, you are actively looking for improvements to improve the release management process Your profile · Successful completion of studies in informatics or business informatics or comparable relevant IT education · 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Release Management environment with Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud · Very good knowledge of Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components · Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops for task tracking and project coordination · Experience in planning, coordinating and implementing Salesforce software releases · Familiarity with version control systems and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Copado, Bitbucket) · Experience in project management, especially in the agile environment · You have excellent communication skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction, as well as identify and apply best practices, standards and SW development lifecycle concepts to all functional areas · High initiative and strong team skills as well as customer and goal orientation · Business fluent in English and a good level of German round off your profileZEISS in India ZEISS in India is headquartered in Bengaluru and present in the fields of Industrial Quality Solutions, Research Microscopy Solutions, Medical Technology, Vision Care and Sports & Cine Optics.
