As an Article Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of taxation, including direct and indirect taxes, internal and statutory audits, GST filings, TDS filings, Bank CMA, and more. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Conduct research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure compliance with current tax practices. Prepare and review tax computations, tax provisions, and tax-related schedules. Assist in tax planning and advisory services for clients, including identifying tax-saving opportunities and minimizing tax liabilities. Perform internal and statutory audits, including the examination of financial records, statements, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prepare and review GST filings, including GST returns, reconciliation statements, and related compliance documentation. Assist in TDS filings, ensuring accurate withholding and timely remittance of taxes as per regulatory requirements. Collaborate with team members to perform Bank CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) and related financial analysis for clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and provide relevant advice to clients. Assist in client interactions, including responding to tax-related queries and providing excellent client service. Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate. General knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
