Hiring specificationsJob Purpose: Tolead and grow Novus Hi Tech’s Solar Business by acquiring new customers, building partnerships, and managing key client relationships across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors, with a focus on delivering custom solar energy solutions.Role Expectations: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Automation, setup solar plant for module cell. Lead generation, Enquiry, Built sales pipeline Engage with clients to understand energy requirements and propose suitable solar solutions. Prepare techno-commercial proposals and lead negotiations to closure. Collaborate with engineering, design, and project execution teams for seamless delivery. Track industry trends, government policies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., net metering, subsidies). Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals. Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets and generate sustainable revenue. Candidate should have experience working withsolar projects and renewable energy systems .Reporting structure: This role will report to:Head – Solar Division / Director – Business StrategyInteractions: Internal Stakeholders: Engineering Teams, Design Teams, Project Execution Team, HODs External Stakeholders: Solar Manufacturer and customer, Government/Discom Officials, Vendors, ConsultantsPEOPLE SPECIFICATIONSProfile:Ideally - BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or Master’s degree or related field 5-10 years of Sales or Business Development experience in the solar energy or renewable sector Should have hands-on exposure to C&I rooftop solar or utility-scale solar manufacturing projectsRequisites: Knowledge ofsolar energy systems ,power electronics , andnet metering processes Familiarity withPPA models ,CAPEX/OPEXbusiness structures, and regulatory norms Comfortable with client site visits, energy audits, and on-ground sales strategy execution Competencies:Technical: Understanding ofsolar manufacturing, installation of solar production line, PV system design and sizing Basic technical knowledge of installation of production line and machinery used,inverters, panels, mounting structures , andbattery systems Ability to interpretload profiles , generatebasic ROI calculations , and develop feasibility reports Proficiency inMS Excel ,AutoCAD , andCRM toolsBehavioral:Hi Tech way of working:We value behavior aligned with CCODERSCustomer First: Operate with customer success mind set and align all our actions accordingly.
