Join our dynamic team as aSenior Instrumentation & Automation Engineerand play a key role in shaping technical proposals that drive business success!Location:Bengaluru Experience:5 to 8 Years Employment Type:Full-TimeKey Responsibilities: Design and propose automation & instrumentation solutions covering DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, field instrumentation, and industrial networking. Analyze customer RFQs, tender documents, P&IDs, control philosophies, and FRS to define precise technical scopes. Prepare system architecture diagrams, control layouts, and network topologies. Specify and select appropriate field instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters, analyzers, valves, etc.) based on process needs and standards. Create detailed technical proposals including solution descriptions, compliance matrices, and clarifications. Support cost estimation and BOM preparation, and manage vendor/subcontractor quotations. Lead technical discussions, pre-bid meetings, and customer workshops to clarify requirements and showcase solutions. Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, execution, sales) and external OEMs/vendors. Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards (IEC, ISA, SIL, API) and customer guidelines. Stay current with latest technologies, platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa), and communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). Prepare compliance statements, deviation reports, and technical bid evaluation documentation. Occasional travel for site surveys and client meetings as needed.Must-Have Skills: Strong expertise in automation & instrumentation systems design and equipment selection. Hands-on knowledge of process control strategies and industrial communication protocols. Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and presentations. Experience working with major automation platforms and industrial instruments.Desirable: Proficiency in Instrumentation and automation systems like PLC, HMI, DCS, Scada.
