Job Title: QA Tester Experience Level:4+ Years Location:Bangalore (Hybrid) Department:Quality Assurance Reports to:QA ManagerJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Tester with 4+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise inAutomation testing, Proficient in Selenium with Java or Python, experienced in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured, and capable of building automation frameworks from scratch.This role requires an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high software quality.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases. Design and implementautomation test scriptsusing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress. ConductAPI testingusing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. Executeperformance testingwith frameworks like JMeter. Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools like JIRA. Collaborate closely with developers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities. Ensure test coverage across different environments and platforms. Work on CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated test suites with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Participate in peer reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvements.Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experiencein software testing, covering bothmanual and automation testing . Strong knowledge ofSDLC/STLC, test methodologies, and testing techniques . Expertise in automation frameworks likeSelenium, Cypress, Playwright , or similar. Hands-on experience withAPI testing tools(Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI). Experience inperformance testingusing JMeter. Familiarity withversion control systems(Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket). Exposure toCI/CD pipelinesfor automated test execution. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience inmobile testingusing tools like Appium or Espresso. Knowledge of security testing best practices.
