Locations:Mumbai (India) Minimum Experience:12 Maximum Experience:25 Skill Set:Cost estimation Mandatory Skill :ASPEN Job Description: Position : Cost EstimatorKey Responsibilities & Roles 1) Review Tendering ITB Requirements such as drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify the construction materials, equipment, and labor required to carry out the project 2) Perform a cost verification and evaluation of the bidder's proposed price such as materials, equipment, labor, and other factors to determine the proposal construction cost for the tendering. 4) Develop construction proposals that include the detailed cost estimates, project schedule, and any other relevant project information to make the proposal competitive. 5) Work with the estimation team to ensure that the proposal construction cost is capable of delivering the project within scope, schedule, and budget. 6) Review technical proposal to ensure that the execution plan and details are accurately reflected in accordance with ITB requirements. 7) Maintain documentation of all estimates, construction proposals, and project contracts. 8) Continuously review and improve construction estimating processes to increase accuracy and efficiency of project cost estimates. 9) Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement in estimation methodologies, to increase accuracy and efficiency. 10) Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies in all estimating activities.Requirements 1) Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field & ASPEN Certified. 2) Proven experience in construction estimating within the EPC industry. 3) Familiarity with subcontracting processes, ITB documents, and project execution. 4) Strong analytical skills for comprehensive cost investigations. 5) Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating construction costs. 6) Effective communication skills to work with subcontractors and internal teams. 7) Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and project management.Technical Skills / Competencies 1) Strong analytical and problem solving skills 2) Excellent communication and negotiation skills 3) Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as MS Office, Auto CAD, etc. 4) Ability to determine the cost of materials, equipment, labor, and other factors affecting project costsKnowledge 1) Specialized knowledge of construction proposals such as construction cost estimating, cost analysis, contract review, document maintenance, etc. 2) Knowledge of Oil / Gas / Petrochemical plants construction challenges and associated cost/schedule/risk factors. 3) Understanding of construction methods and materials.Experience 1) 12+ Year Experience in construction estimation and proposal preparation 2) Experience working in Oil / Gas / Petrochemical EPC plants. 3) Construction Proposal Estimation & Costing experience is mandatory 4) Cost & Schedule Management experience is preferred 5) Construction subcontracting experience is preferred 6) Experiences from various sites at the Middle East region is preferredBachelor degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Construction Management with minimum 6 years of experience Petrochemical and oil refineriesInterested person can contact on below details: 8479918881 pinky.singh@
