Remote (Work From Anywhere)— Part-time / Full-time / ContractRole Summary Join aclose-knit, remote-first studiocreating afast-paced hack‑n‑slash mobile title steeped in Indian mythology . As aVFX / Technical Artist , you'll own thefull life-cycleof real-time effects and the tooling behind them—ensuring everydash, sword-slash, and elemental burstlooks stunning and runs at a rock-solid60 FPS on target mobile devices . Success in this role means: Delivering visually striking, performant VFX Accelerating team workflows with smart editor tools Helping build a scalable, production-ready art pipeline Responsibilities Design and implementreal-time VFX(e.g., dash trails, sword arcs, elemental spells, UI feedback) that enhance gameplay clarity and player satisfaction. Authorstylized, high-performance shadersin Shader Graph or HLSL, matching the game’smythic art direction . Develop and maintaincustom Unity editor tools , scripts, andpipeline extensionsfor streamlining artist/designer workflows. Profile, debug, and optimizerendering and VFX systemsto ensurestable frame rates on mid-range mobile hardware(URP/HDRP). Collaborate cross-functionally withdesign, art, and engineeringto ensure effects arereadable, responsive, and technically sound . Document best practices andmentor teammateson Unity VFX/shader pipelines and optimization techniques. Contribute feedback onlook-dev, lighting, and visual directionto achieve acohesive, mythology-inspired aesthetic .
