QualificationsM.Tech in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering, or B.E. in Civil Engineering 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred (freshers with strong academic project work may also apply)Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and execute the construction and experimentation of physical models for hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, etc. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including flow meters, pumps, sediment feeders, and data acquisition systems. Perform model calibration and validation using field and theoretical data. Collaborate with internal design teams and external consultants to provide technical inputs and adapt project specifications. Assist in the preparation, review, and finalization of technical reports, drawings, and other documentation for physical modelling projects. Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards during all laboratory experiments. Manage procurement and maintain inventory of construction materials and laboratory instruments. Conduct site visits, when required, for data collection and project assessment.Skills RequiredStrong understanding of open channel hydraulics and physical modelling concepts. Hands-on experience in physical model construction using materials such as concrete, plywood, and sediment simulants. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and Excel); working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred. Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
