Role: Data Scientist – GenAI (Banking Domain) Location: Bangalore Experience:10+ years in Data Science, 3+ years in GenAI Industry:Banking / Financial ServicesKey Responsibilities: Develop, train, and fine-tune GenAI models (LLMs, GPT, etc.) for banking use cases Design and implement predictive models, NLP solutions, and recommendation systems Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured financial data Collaborate with business and product teams to define AI-driven solutions Ensure responsible AI practices, fairness, explainability, and compliance in model outputs Deploy models using MLOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, etc.) Must-Have Skills: Strong Python programming with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, etc.) Expertise in NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases Experience in building models for credit risk, fraud detection, customer segmentation, etc. Good understanding of banking data, processes, and regulatory requirements Good-to-Have: Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) Exposure to data privacy, compliance (GDPR, RBI guidelines) in AI systems
