Job role Program Management and Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end program lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the smooth execution of all program components. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, legal, and support teams, to align on program goals and execution strategies. Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including program partners, funders, investors and domain experts. Start-up Engagement and Support: Work closely with portfolio start-ups to understand their needs and support them in achieving their goals. Facilitate mentorship, networking, and resource access for start-ups within the program. Monitor start-up progress and ensure they leverage program offerings effectively. Operations and Execution: Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently and align with program objectives. Manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness. Adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of the start-up ecosystem. Monitoring, Reporting, and Review: Develop and implement robust progress reporting mechanisms to track program performance and outcomes. Present detailed program reports and updates to leadership, partners, and other stakeholders. Conduct periodic program reviews to identify opportunities for improvement. Community Building: Organize events, workshops, and networking sessions to foster a vibrant community of start-ups, mentors, and partners. Drive initiatives that strengthen the ecosystem and create long-term value for all stakeholders. Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated on trends and best practices in start-up incubation, accelerator programs, and the broader entrepreneurial landscape. Propose innovative ideas to enhance program design, delivery and outcomes.Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in program management, start-up ecosystems or a related role. Experience working with inclusive tech, fintech or jobs & livelihoods start-ups is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Skills Required: Strong understanding of start-up operations, investment mechanisms, and ecosystem dynamics. Proven track record of managing complex programs with diverse stakeholders.
