This office plays a critical role in supporting our global operations and driving innovation in mining technology.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedTechnical Support Specialistto join our support team in Hyderabad. This role provides front-line technical assistance to mining clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring the reliability, uptime, and effectiveness of HME’s fleet management and telemetry solutions.The ideal candidate will have a trade background or equivalent practical experience with heavy mining equipment, a strong understanding of mine production systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and support real-time data and telemetry platforms.This is a technically hands-on role that involves remote support, system monitoring, fault diagnosis, and working closely with site personnel and engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for HME’s fleet management systems, telemetry hardware, and communication networks. Remotely monitor system performance, diagnose faults, and guide site teams through issue resolution. Support the deployment and configuration of in-vehicle hardware, base station components, and network devices. Liaise with mine site operators, supervisors, and technical staff to address equipment and system queries. Log and document support tickets, issue resolution steps, and system changes in line with internal processes. Assist with software updates, system patching, and remote installations as required. Escalate critical system failures or integration issues to Tier 2 or engineering support teams. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve supportability and performance of deployed systems. Contribute to knowledge base content, user guides, and training documentation.Required Skills & ExperienceTrade qualified (automotive, electrical, communications, or mechanical) or equivalent extensive hands-on experience with mining equipment and systems. Familiarity with a wide range of mine site mobile equipment such as haul trucks, dozers, shovels, and drills. High-level understanding of mine site fleet management systems and telemetry platforms. Experience working in or supporting a control room, dispatch centre, or maintenance team. Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills, particularly related to hardware, networking, and software interfaces. Excellent communication skills for interacting with operators, site supervisors, and internal stakeholders. Comfortable using remote access tools, ticketing systems, and diagnostic software.Preferred QualificationsBackground in mining production, equipment maintenance, or technology support. Experience with systems such as Modular, Wenco, Pitram, or HME FMS is an advantage.
