Job Title : Lead Engineer Experience : 5+ years Location : Chennai Notice period : Immediate to 15 daysJob Description :Communicate with all project stakeholders internal and external to the company Graduate of University program in Electrical Engineering. Electrical System planning, load forecasting, and Electrical master plan preparation. 5-10 years working/business experience in related areas, with 5+ in a power distribution environment with knowledge of North American electrical distribution system Electrical Specification writing. Knowledge of power distribution system fundamentals, O.E.S.C., CSA Standards and distribution system specs. Attend design and project meetings as required. Experience designing underground & overhead power systems ranging from 120/208V to 35kV distribution systems. Design power distribution and street lighting systems for residential/commercial developments. Familiarity with photometric calculation software for roadway and area lighting. Oversee critical project information, drawings, files, spreadsheets, and records Expertise with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with experience in SPIDACalc or other similar pole loading software preferred Develop electrical system designs including one-line diagrams, load calculations, electrical equipment sizing, etc. Strong interpersonal and communication skills – good command of the English language, written and oral Design/approve distribution system expansion or rehabilitation designs High level of motivation; self-starter; drive for results Utility coordination and relocation services and utility joint-use project administration track record of understanding and supporting technical, business, and professional requirement Supervise and mentor Designers, and Engineering Technologists/Technicians Ensure that critical project work has been verified at key milestones by facilitating design review mechanisms
