About the Company We are building a new Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) function focused on data platforms that power business processes across the enterprise. This team is part of a 24/7 distributed model that emphasizes proactive automation, observability, and techno-functional expertise. This is a high-impact role supporting systems such as Snowflake, Power BI, Looker, and Azure-based data infrastructure.About the Role This role involves ensuring the reliability and observability of enterprise data platforms while managing various monitoring tools and supporting cross-functional teams.Responsibilities Ensure reliability, observability, and uptime for enterprise data platforms Design and manage monitoring tools like Datadog, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and OpsGenie Implement incident response and escalation using shift-based on-call rotations Partner with cross-functional teams to support data processes such as O2C and P2P Support CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps with shift-left security (SonarQube, Rapid7) Automate recurring tasks and build documentation, dashboards, and remediation runbooks Contribute to initiatives around centralized observability, predictive analytics, and playbook-driven incident triageQualifications 3–15 years of experience in SRE, data engineering, or platform support roles Strong skills in SQL and Python; able to debug and maintain ELT pipelines Ability to read and interpret code repositories (GitHub, Azure DevOps) Strong collaboration skills to engage across tools and business domains Knowledge of Snowflake architecture and BI platforms like Power BI and Looker Prior experience with on-call rotations, follow-the-sun teams, and alerting systemsPreferred Skills Experience in a Fortune 500 or enterprise-scale setting Ability to work independently on incident management and support escalations Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned security practices in CI/CD
