Handle industrial relations (IR) with a proactive and mature approach; manage union interactions, negotiations, settlements, and grievance handling. Ensure 100% compliance of all statutory requirements including Factories Act, ESI, PF, labour laws, etc. Act as the site HR SPOC for employee engagement, workforce discipline, contract labour management, welfare activities, and safety awareness programs. Develop and implement HR systems, SOPs, and audits tailored for plant environments. Lead the manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives for the plant. Foster a positive work culture through proactive conflict management and team-building interventions. Liaison with government and local statutory bodies for inspections, licenses, and approvals. Maintain updated MIS and HR dashboards with regular reporting to corporate HR and leadership. Drive cultural alignment and organizational values among blue-collar and white-collar employees. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong expertise in Industrial Relations (IR), including union handling, negotiations, and conflict resolution Hands-on experience in Statutory Compliance and labour law interpretation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multiple stakeholders (internal & external) Ability to lead a large workforce, particularly in a plant or manufacturing setup Strong discipline, ethical grounding, and leadership – ex-servicemen profile or similar experience preferred Working knowledge of Kannada is a plusEducational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (mandatory) MBA / PGDM in HR or related field (preferred) Law background or certification in labour laws will be an added advantageInbox the profile to s.pavai@
