Job Summary: We are looking for a skilledMachine Setterwith programming knowledge to handleTurning, Turnmill, CNC, VMC, and HMC machinesin our machining department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up machines, making necessary offsets, loading programs, and ensuring the quality of parts in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operateTurning, Turnmill, CNC, VMC, and HMCmachines as per job requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, machine tool paths, and job orders. Load and edit CNC programs as per component specifications (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi / other controllers). Select appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures for machining operations. Conduct tool offset, work offset, and program zero point setting. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve productivity and part accuracy. Perform trial runs and first piece inspection. Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to ensure parts meet required tolerances and surface finishes. Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance of machines. Maintain machine cleanliness and workplace discipline (5S). Document setup sheets and maintain operational logs. Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimizations. Qualifications & Experience: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production Engineering. 10 years of experience as a CNC Setter in Turning / Turnmill / VMC / HMC machines. Hands-on experience with programming and setting for Fanuc, Siemens, or other standard controllers. Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and understanding GD&T. Good knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and machining parameters. Ability to troubleshoot machine or program errors independently.
