Role OverviewWe are looking for a technically adept Integration Specialist to support the discovery and implementation of a modular, cloud-native banking platform built on a composable architecture. You will work closely with Solution Architects, business analysts, and product owners to design and implement seamless integrations between COTS products (e.g., Mambu, Salesforce, CurrencyCloud) and custom services using modern APIs, messaging systems, and GraphQL. Key ResponsibilitiesDuring Discovery Phase:Assess current-state integrations and dependencies across the Monument Tech stack.Analyse API documentation of key COTS systems and recommend integration strategies.Support design of orchestration layer using GraphQL and REST.Identify and document integration touchpoints, data models, and sequence flows.Collaborate with BAs to understand functional workflows and map integration requirements.Contribute to the Solution Design Package including architecture diagrams and data flow maps.During Implementation Phase:Build and configure integration adapters/middleware between core systems (e.g., Mambu ↔ Salesforce ↔ Payment gateways).Develop and test REST/GraphQL-based integrations with third-party providers (KYC, FX, Payments).Set up and maintain Kafka-based messaging topics and microservices hooks.Ensure all integrations meet performance, security, and compliance standards.Work closely with DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines for integration components.Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve data mapping inconsistencies.Contribute to documentation and handovers for client IT teams. Must-Have SkillsProven experience integrating COTS systems like Mambu, Salesforce, CurrencyCloud, ComplyAdvantage, or equivalent.Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OAuth2, and webhooks.Hands-on experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.Experience working with microservices architecture.Familiarity with Node.js, Java, or Python for scripting and service adapters.Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred). Good-to-HaveExperience in BFSI domain, especially digital banking, payments, or lending.Familiarity with low-code/no-code workflow tools.Exposure to security protocols, compliance integrations, and observability tooling (e.g., Datadog).Understanding of data models for MI and regulatory reporting. Soft SkillsComfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams across geographies.Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.Solution-oriented with an eye for operational risk and resilience.
