He must possess good knowledge of different kind of materials, tooling & conversant with latest tool technology.About the RoleGood knowledge of metal cutting machines like CNC plano millers/ CNC horz. Boring Machines/turning centers/CNC Hobbing machine etc. Worked closely or independently for developing new tools time to time for customized application.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate thorough knowledge of various engineering materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, alloys, composites, etc.) and their behavior during machining.Hands-on experience with metal cutting machines such as:CNC Plano MillersCNC Horizontal Boring MachinesCNC Turning CentersCNC Hobbing MachinesPrepare comprehensive process plans for machine shop operations , including setup sheets and sequence of operations.Exhibit strong engineering drawing interpretation skills , including GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.Optimize machining parameters for cost-effective and high-precision output .Apply knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and contribute to documentation, audits, and compliance processes.Use SAP HANA for production planning, inventory tracking, and tooling resource management.Experience or working knowledge of MS Project or similar tools for resource planning and scheduling would be considered a plus.QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or from Govt Colleges like Central Tool rooms etc.Having Academic with Above 60% marks.Required SkillsExperience 8 to 10 Years in tool room of heavy engineering manufacturing industry preferably having modern machine shops.
