We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Academic, Research & EdTech Sales and Business Development Professional to manage our existing accounts. The role involves driving engagement with universities, colleges, research institutes to the ecosystem of education and research as a whole. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring strong relationship management and satisfaction. Conduct regular onsite visits to maintain close engagement with clients and address their evolving needs. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Neysa.ai’s solutions to existing clients, driving revenue growth. Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, industry trends, and market demands to tailor solutions accordingly. Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to deliver seamless client experiences. Generate and maintain sales reports, account performance metrics, and pipeline forecasts. Work towards achieving and exceeding sales and account expansion targets. Stay updated on competitors and industry developments to strategize effectively. Qualifications & Skills: 6 to 7 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a similar role. Strong background in managing and growing accounts (farming), ideally within education, edutech, SaaS, or enterprise tech. Comfortable with on-ground travel and direct client engagement. Demonstrated ability to identify new revenue opportunities within existing relationships. Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and maximize revenue from existing accounts. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to client engagement. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in AI, SaaS, or technology-driven industries is a plus.
