Location: Mumbai / Delhi Experience: 10+ years in media sales, with strong exposure to digital and social media monetization Role Overview: We are looking for a driven and creative revenue leader to head sales for Social18 – the social media engine of Network18. This role will lead monetization of creative social media content, bespoke branded posts, live event coverage, and platform-first IPs across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and X. Key Responsibilities: Create monetization models for: Platform-native social posts (reels, carousels, stories) Branded live coverage for events and launches Recurring IPs (e.g., digital shows, topical explainers, meme-led series) Lead agency and client pitches end-to-end with creative + sales teams Partner with internal editorial, brand solutions, and platform teams to deliver compelling sellable ideas Identify sponsorship and native integration opportunities within content calendars Build new categories and relationships with digital-first advertisers (D2C, fintech, FMCG, auto, etc.) Drive GTM strategy for high-impact days (e.g. Budget Day, World Cup, elections) Track performance, viewership, and monetization metrics; optimize for ROI Requirements: Proven track record of closing large digital content and branded deals Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, FB, YouTube, Snapchat, X) Ability to convert editorial IPs into monetizable products Experience working with creative and editorial teams on co-branded concepts Excellent presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills Preferred Background: Prior experience with digital media houses, creative agencies, or content studios Strong network across media agencies, brand managers, and digital teams Disclaimer: Please note Network18 and related group companies do not use the services of vendors or agents for recruitment.
