Job Title

The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance across operations. They develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures to prevent incidents and promote a safe work culture. To assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards. Role: Environment Health and Safety - Other Industry Type: Auto Components Department: Environment Health & Safety Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Environment Health and Safety - Other HSE Compliance & Auditing Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to health, safety, and environmental practices. Conduct internal HSE audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Maintain documentation and records required by regulatory agencies. Risk Assessment & Incident Management Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA). Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective/preventive measures. Track and report near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. Training & Awareness Organize HSE induction programs for new employees and contractors. Conduct regular HSE training and awareness campaigns for all levels of staff. Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Emergency Preparedness Develop and implement emergency response plans (fire, chemical spill, etc.). Conduct regular mock drills and evaluate effectiveness. Monitoring & Reporting Monitor environmental parameters (air, water, waste, noise) and report deviations. Prepare monthly HSE performance reports and KPIs for management review. Assist in sustainability and environmental initiatives of the company. Contractor Safety Management Ensure HSE compliance by contractors and subcontractors on-site.
