Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong focus on AIX Administration. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in managing and supporting infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in AIX Administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with system monitoring tools and performance tuning. Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions for AIX environments. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., IBM PowerVM). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl) for automation tasks. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Experience with cloud infrastructure and services. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain AIX operating systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Implement and manage system backups, disaster recovery plans, and security measures. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
