Job Description – Product Owner: As a Product Owner, you act as the voice of the customer at the team level. You are responsible for the Team Backlog, ensuring the development team works on the right priorities to deliver maximum value in each iteration and Program Increment. Key Responsibilities: Own, refine, and prioritize the Team Backlog Work closely with the Product Manager to understand Features and break them into actionable User Stories Clearly articulate Acceptance Criteria and ensure stories meet the Definition of Done (DoD) Collaborate daily with the Agile Team, participate in Iteration Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives Accept completed stories and ensure that deliverables meet quality and value expectations Support PI Planning, Iteration Planning, and Backlog Refinement sessions Engage with customers, stakeholders, and business teams to gather detailed requirements Understand the market and transformations occurring in the customer base, you represent the customer (buyer) and user (business user or end customer) in the planning process and prioritize the backlog. Act as the interface between technical teams and business teams to remove impediments Technical/Functional Skills & Qualifications: Practical knowledge of SAFe or Scrum methodologies Strong skills in requirements decomposition, user story writing, and backlog management Ability to make quick and informed decisions on priorities and scope Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional Agile teams Experience with Aha, Jira, Confluence or similar Agile/SAFe tools Strong understanding of the airline domain and industry-specific workflows Soft Skills Required: Strong communication and active listening skills Problem-solving mindset Ability to balance stakeholder expectations Detail-oriented with a focus on quality delivery Team Collaboration Flexibility and responsiveness to change
