Job Title: Associate Project Lead / Project Lead / Senior Project Lead - Insurance Domain Experience Level: 6 – 12 Years Location: Noida / Faridabad Background: Strong software development background preferred Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Lead/Senior Project Lead with a solid foundation in software development and deep exposure to the insurance domain . The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Agile project management methodologies , excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects, primarily in the insurance domain Facilitate Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups Drive project planning , tracking, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget Manage scope changes , project risks, and dependencies effectively Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders Ensure quality assurance and adherence to SDLC best practices throughout the project lifecycle Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and status reporting Use project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello) for tracking and documentation Provide technical guidance where needed, leveraging development experience to resolve blockers Identify and implement process improvement opportunities Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in Agile/Scrum facilitation Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in managing software development projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Hands-on with project management tools Expertise in scope management , change control, and planning Understanding of quality assurance processes Prior hands-on experience in software/application development Good-to-Have Skills: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification Prior experience with enterprise applications in the insurance sector Technical proficiency in any programming language or platform Experience in managing onshore-offshore teams Preferred Profile: Started career as a software developer and transitioned into project leadership Experience in insurance products, platforms, or digital transformation initiatives A proven track record of delivering complex projects with cross-functional teams About Damco: We are a global technology company with more than two decades of core IT experience.
