Designation - Plant Head Work mode- In office Experience - 7to12 Job location- Ludhiana Key skills Ladle Refining Furnace Planning/execution Alloy Steel Plant Operations Production Planning Control Production Operations Key Responsibilities: Plant Operations: Full ownership of production planning, execution, and output targets. Operate and optimize Ladle Refining Furnace, Vacuum Degassing, and EMS processes for superior billet quality. Supervise casting processes ensuring metallurgical standards and cleanliness are met. Ensure maximum plant uptime and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor stringent quality control protocols. Lead product quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistency in mechanical and chemical properties. Coordinate with the QC lab for testing, certifications, and traceability. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing production and quality team. Ensure cross-functional coordination between maintenance, production, and dispatch. Process & Cost Optimization: Implement process improvements and energy-efficient practices. Drive reduction in cost per ton through lean manufacturing and waste minimization. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory regulations. Lead plant audits, certifications, and customer inspections.
