About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and DBT (Data Build Tool) to join our growing data team. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT and Snowflake. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize and manage Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring efficient storage, processing, and retrieval. Develop and enforce best practices for data modeling, transformation, and version control. Monitor and improve data pipeline reliability, performance, and data quality. Implement access controls, data governance, and documentation across the data stack. Perform code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the data platform. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the modern data stack. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehouse architecture, features, and optimization. Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), especially data services. Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and modern ELT practices. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows. Required Skills: Expertise in Snowflake and DBT. Strong SQL skills. Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms.
