We're on the hunt for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our new advertiser acquisition efforts in India. This isn't just any BD role – it's 100% focused on affiliate business development. As our Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion, responsible for: Strategic Client Acquisition: Conduct in-depth market research to identify high-potential advertiser segments and develop targeted sales plans to acquire new clients exclusively within the affiliate marketing space. Relationship Building: Forge and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs in relation to affiliate partnerships. Deal Negotiation & Closure: Skillfully negotiate and close deals that maximize revenue and profitability, ensuring mutually beneficial affiliate agreements. Lead Generation: Actively prospect and generate high-quality leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email, social media, networking), specifically targeting companies seeking to leverage affiliate marketing. Pipeline Management: Qualify leads based on their potential value and alignment with our target affiliate market, and utilize HubSpot to track and manage your sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue forecasts. We're looking for a true affiliate BD expert with: Mandatory Affiliate BD Experience: Extensive and demonstrated business development experience specifically within affiliate marketing in the Indian market . Experience in other forms of business development will not align with this role. Relevant Category Expertise: Affiliate BD experience in key categories such as Travel, Fashion, Beauty, Retail, E-commerce, Food, or Marketplaces . Deep Affiliate Marketing Acumen: A profound understanding of affiliate marketing models (CPA, CPL, CPC, etc.), performance marketing, online advertising, and relevant industry trends. Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that optimize affiliate partnerships. Sales Proficiency: Proven experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans, along with exceptional negotiation and closing skills. Technical Savvy: Proficiency in HubSpot for CRM and pipeline management. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and digital analytics platforms is a plus. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Strong presentation and storytelling skills are essential.
