About the Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Vendor & Packaging Relations Associate to join SUBKO. This role sits at the intersection of operations, production, design, and vendor management helping scale our packaging systems while staying true to Subko’s high standards of craft and storytelling. Responsibilities: Develop and size KLDs (Key Line Drawings) for new packaging based on product needs Identify, source, and establish relationships with new vendors across categories: paper, textile, lighting, spatial installations, and more Negotiate pricing and production timelines with vendors, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality Maintain ongoing relationships with existing vendors, ensuring smooth reordering and consistent communication Collaborate closely with designers to prototype, sample, test, and refine packaging for both core and event-based product needs Advise the team on material choices, printing techniques, textures, foil treatments, finishes, and industry trends Coordinate procurement and delivery timelines in sync with brand and campaign calendars Create a network of production partners to optimize cost, quality, and turnaround time for Subko packaging Qualifications: 3+ Experience in packaging production, industrial design, vendor relations, or sourcing Familiar with packaging production techniques, materiality, and working with printers or suppliers Skilled at negotiation and maintaining long-term vendor relationships Organized, communicative, and comfortable working cross-functionally with design, operations, and marketing teams Passionate about craft, detail, and pushing packaging as a storytelling tool
