Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing physical design team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation Mentor and coach junior engineers, empowering their professional development and technical growth Define clear vision, set strategic direction, and motivate the team to achieve ambitious project goals Champion best practices for physical design and continuously improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness Technical Expertise: Define and implement the overall physical design strategy for assigned projects, considering performance, power, area, and manufacturability constraints Oversee all stages of physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), routing, and physical verification Ensure adherence to advanced design rules and industry best practices for manufacturability Stay at the forefront of physical design advancements by actively researching and adopting emerging tools and methodologies Collaborate effectively with design, verification, and layout teams to ensure seamless integration throughout the design cycle Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex physical design challenges
